Share Your Music with All your Computers

Share iTunes Media

Most households today have more than one computer. Whether it's kids/parents, work/personal, or some other mix, multi-pc homes are now very common. With multiple computers comes freedom, but also some pain in accessing common files such as music, photos and videos. Setting up one central place to store a household’s media files and access via iTunes makes sense. It will also free up some hard drive space on each computer.

Adeona: Free Laptop Tracker

Adeona: Free Laptop Tracker:

"Adeona is a free laptop tracker that helps you track your laptop if it gets stolen. You install Adeona software client on your laptop, pick a password and let it run in the background. Unlike similar commercial tools, Adeona is decentralized and doesn’t store your password on its servers. It means no one besides the owner can use Adeona to track your laptop.

If the laptop gets stolen, it will send its IP address when it is connected to the Internet. The IP address can then be retrieved using the Adeona Recovery Wizard. Knowing the IP address is enough in most cases to track the geographical location of the device."

A surprising PC speed culprit: dust

A surprising PC speed culprit: dust :: Free Tech Support from Ask Dave Taylor!: "Whether you realize it or not, an enemy of your computer's performance is dust. Over time, your fans will pick up dust which collects on the components, the heat sink
and on the fan blades themselves. Eventually, this impedes cooling and can cause your machine to run hot, reducing efficiency. It can also gum up the working mechanism of the fans, causing them to overheat or seize.

The issue? One you probably think about every day: how do I speed up my PC"

"I love camphones. I love “real” cameras, too - I own and regularly use a number of digital and analogue cameras including a Nikon D80, a Canon IXUS, a Holga 120N and a Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim. But the camera in my phone is always with me, and as a result, over the years I’ve found myself using it a lot to capture odd and interesting things spotted during my daily commute and everyday life."
